Since its opening in 1994, the Duane Reed Gallery has represented and exhibited nationally recognized contemporary artists working in the fields of painting, photography, and sculpture.  This program itself has been committed to showcasing innovative, established and emerging artists working both figuratively and abstractly in a variety of mediums that also include ceramics and glass.  Works of gallery artists can be found in major public and private collections that include the Metropolitan Museum of Art, MOMA, The Museum of Arts and Design, Smithsonian Museum of American Art, Carnegie Museum, Philadelphia Museum, LA County Museum, Victoria and Albert, and the Musee des Arts Decoratifs, Paris, to name a few.

Producing approximately 15 exhibitions a year in our St. Louis location, the gallery has also participated in numerous art fairs since 1994 that include Art Palm Beach, Houston Fine Art Fair, Art Miami, SOFA (Sculpture, Objects and Functional Art) fairs in Chicago, New York, Miami and Santa Fe, FLOW Miami, Palm Springs International Art Show and the Dallas International Art Fair.

The Duane Reed Gallery has become a valuable resource for collectors, consultants, artists, museums, and curators.  We are available to assist in a variety of areas including the development of collections, acquisition of artwork, and consultation for corporate and public spaces.  The gallery has played a key role in the selection and placement of works in many corporate and public collections around the world and strives to introduce innovative emerging artists to collectors and arts organizations.

Situated in a 4,400 sq. ft. space in the active Central West End neighborhood of St. Louis, the gallery plays an ongoing role in a vibrant arts community.
