“I create sculptures that are personally meditative, repetitive with pattern, and orderly in structure. However, I push against my patterns of order to create a vulnerable, tense form that implies a invitation of interpretation. I am interested in exposing the process of material through positive and negative layers, and building in multiples to test structure and contrast space. I seek a pattern of control in building or a physical order that exposes small questions of stability and instability through form.” -Artist Statement
